Cash Mystery Progressive

1.       No person under the age of 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.

2.       Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.

3.       This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners, or immediate family members.

4.       This promotion is exclusive to Rewards members and will run from Monday, 17 January to Saturday, 02 April 2022. Bi-weekly non-attendance electronic draws will be held before the casino opens on 27 January, 10 & 24 February, and 10 &24 March 2022, and the Progressive Bonus draw will take place on Thursday, 31 March 2022.

5.       Prize Reveals will take place on Saturdays at 20h00 on the following dates: 29 January 2022, 12 & 26 February 2022, 12 & 26 March 2022 with the Progressive Draw Prize Reveal on 2 April 2022.

6.       A process for declination to be present at a Prize Reveal date will be available at the Customer Services Desk from the day of the draw until the day of the Prize Reveal, where a participant can register to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for the Prize Reveal.

7.       Participants must register to decline to not be present at the Prize Reveal in person. No person shall be permitted to act on behalf of a participant to exercise this rule. A positive and acceptable form of identification must be presented by relevant parties when completing this process.

8.       Prize winners or nominated Proxy must be present at the promotional stage area at 20h00 on the Prize Reveal day(s) and must present an acceptable form of identification.

9.       The six finalists will be invited to select a prize reveal box in the order in which they were drawn.

10.    Should the prize winner or nominated proxy not be present, the Prize Reveal box will be selected on his/her behalf by a member of the management team/security. Irrespective of the position in which such finalists were originally drawn, the prize reveal selection on the part of management/security will be done after all finalists/proxies who are present have completed their prize reveal selections.

11.    Should a prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of declining an invite to be present for the Prize Reveal, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided on the proxy nomination form or otherwise readily available. In such circumstances, the prize winner may within 15 days of the draw claim the prize.

12.    For the first bi-weekly draw on 17 January, Rewards members who have been active since Saturday, 1 January 2021 will be allocated free tickets to launch the promotion. Gold tier = 10 tickets each, Platinum tier = 20 tickets each, and Black tier = 30 tickets each.

13.    Thereafter, participants earn points to qualify for ticket/s for draws by playing Slots or Tables. Bi-weekly tickets are earned from Mondays to the following week’s Sundays. Bonus draw tickets are earned from 17 January to 23 March 2022.

For every 250 points earned, one bonus draw ticket will be allocated. Tickets earned will be capped at 1,000.

16.    Bi-weekly draw qualifiers, who have printed their tickets will receive Top-up Tickets for the Progressive Bonus Draw. The tickets will be allocated to bi-weekly draw qualifiers per tier as follows: Gold tier = 5 tickets, Platinum tier = 10 tickets, and Black tier = 15 tickets.

17.    Qualifiers must activate their Bi-weekly draw tickets at the e-Host from Monday to Sunday before the actual draw to be entered into the promotion. The Bonus Draw Top-up tickets must be activated on Monday to Wednesday before the Bi-weekly draw and printed from the e-Host between Friday, 25 and Wednesday, 30 March 2022.

18.    Draw tickets cannot be purchased through cash, points, or any other form of consideration.

19.    Participants cannot be present for the bi-weekly draws. Winners will be notified via SMS and/or telephonically using the contact details provided by the members on the Rewards Management System. It is the Rewards member’s responsibility to ensure that contact telephone numbers are updated and correct. The six winners will be invited to reveal their prize on the promotional stage by picking one Prize Reveal box out of a possible eight reveal boxes.

20.    The electronic draw system will be used to select six winners per week. The bi-weekly draw prize breakdown:

21.    The prize value of the unopened boxes will be added to the starting values of the Progressive Bonus Draw.

22.    Participants cannot be present for the Progressive Bonus draw. Winners will be notified via SMS and/or telephonically using the contact details provided by the members on the Rewards Management System. It is the Rewards member’s responsibility to ensure that contact telephone numbers are updated and correct. The five winners will be invited to reveal their prize on the promotional stage in the order in which they were drawn by picking one Prize Reveal box out of a possible five reveal boxes.

23.    The electronic draw system will be used to select five winners in the Bonus Draw. Progressive Bonus Draw Prize starting values are R25,000 in Cash, R12.500 in FreePlay, and R0 in Food & Beverage vouchers. The total Rollover amounts from the five bi-weekly draws will be added to the starting values to determine the Final Prize. The Prize percentage split for the five reveal boxes will be 35%, 25%, 20%, 12%, and 8% of the Prize Pool. The Bonus draw winnings (Cash, FreePlay, and F&B vouchers) will be rounded up to the nearest R50.

24.    Participants in the draws may only be drawn once per draw. A re-draw will take place if a participant is drawn for a second, third, etc. time.

25.    In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management. This may include rescheduling draw dates and/or times

26.    The Cash, FreePlay, and Food and Beverage prize winners must claim their prize at the casino within 15 days of the draw.

27.    Cash and FreePlay Prizes must be redeemed at Cash Desk and Food and Beverage prizes at Billy G or Bravo Lounge (for sit-down meals only).

28.    All decisions are final, and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into

29.    Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.

30.    Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.

31.    The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.

32.    The Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of unresolved disputes, subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.

33.    Any complaint and/or dispute can be lodged to the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.

35.    The rules of this promotion are only valid in accordance with the Covid-19 Regulations at the time of drafting and are subject to change should the Covid-19 Regulations change as per government gazetted guidelines.
