How can I win?

The promotion is exclusive to Rewards members.

Participants must play Slots or Tables and earn one (1) point for one (1) ticket and 250 points per additional ticket thereafter- capped at 250 tickets.

Points must be earned from Monday to Sunday during the promotion.

Qualifiers must activate their tickets at the eHost from Monday to Sunday the following week, to enter into the non-attendance draw.

When can I win?

 

The electronic draw system will be used to select winners and a manual draw to select the prize.

Non-attendance draws will be held on Monday 22 and 29 March and 5, 12, 19 and 26 April prior to the casino opening.

The total number of prizes for the promotion is one hundred and twenty (120), i.e. twenty (20) prizes per week for the duration of the promotion.

Participants may have more than one (1) ticket in the electronic entry bin but can only win once per draw.

Participants may only win one (1) entertainment package during the promotion.

Participants will be notified via SMS and/or telephonically if their names are drawn. It is the Rewards member’s responsibility to ensure that we have updated and correct contact telephone numbers.

Prizes will be loaded as vouchers on the eHost and must be redeemed within fifteen (15) days from the date of the draw. Once printed at the eHost, where applicable, guests will proceed with their eHost slip to the Customer Services Desk with the exception of the Entertainment package prizes and FreePlay prizes redeemable weekly over four (4) weeks. For these prizes, winners will have fifteen (15) days to claim their prize with the prizes being available Monday to Sunday for four (4) weeks commencing from the Monday following the winners claiming their prize.

Promotional Rules

  1. No person under the age of 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members
  4. This promotion is exclusive to Rewards members and will run from 8 March to 26 April 2021 Draws will be held on Mondays prior to the casino opening on 22 and 29 March and 5, 12, 19 and 26 April.
  5. Participants earn points by playing Slots or Tables from Mondays to Sunday to qualify for ticket/s.
  6. 1 point will entitle the cardholder to 1 ticket, thereafter 1 ticket will be awarded for every 250 points earned – tickets are capped at 250 per patron per week.
  7. Qualifiers must activate their tickets at the eHost between Monday to Sunday before the actual draw to enter into the promotion
  8. Draw tickets cannot be purchased through cash, points or any other form of consideration. Tickets will be issued based on points earned on Slots or Tables during the promotion earning period
  9. Participants cannot be present for the draw/s, winners will be notified via SMS and/or telephonically using the contact details provided by the members on the Rewards Management System. It is the Rewards member’s responsibility to ensure that contact telephone numbers are updated and correct.
  1. 20 tickets will be drawn using the electronic system. Thereafter, the prize to be awarded to the winning guest will be drawn (manual).
      1. Participants may only be drawn once per draw. A re-draw will take place if a participant is drawn more than once. Participants may only win one entertainment package prize during this promotion.  A prize re-draw will take place if an entertainment package is selected as the winners’ prize more than once during the promotion.
      2. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management. This may include rescheduling times and a draw date/s.
      3. The prize winner must claim the prize at the casino within 15 days of the draw
  1. Prizes won will be loaded as vouchers on the eHost.

 

  1. The Entertainment package prizes and Play packages will be redeemable over a 4 week period and must be used in the week in which they are allocated. Any individual prizes not used in the week in which they are allocated will lapse and may therefore not be claimed at a later stage.
  2. Entertainment Package prizes and Play Packages will be available for redemption every Monday to a Sunday for 4 weeks. This redemption cycle will commence from the Monday following the date on which the prize winner presents himself/herself and claims his /her prize
      1. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged
      2. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into
  1. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  2. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management;
  3. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  4. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force;
  5. The Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of unresolved disputes, subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.
  6. Any complaint and/or dispute can be lodged to the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.
  7. Copies of these rules are available at the Customer Services Desk upon request
  8. The rules of this promotion are only valid as set out under the Covid-19 Alert Level during which they were issued and are subject to change should the Covid-19 Alert Level change as per government gazetted guidelines.
